The project aims to upgrade and lease a building in central Kirriemuir that will allow DD8, a local music group, to expand their range of activities and encourage wider involvement from the community. More specifically the project will provide a music rehearsal space, equipment, a recording studio and music lessons for a variety of instruments and to suit different levels of ability. The group will organise various musical events in Kirriemuir and surrounding areas, work collaboratively with other community groups in the area and increase the profile of DD8 Music while encouraging more volunteers to get involved.
