This is a project to purchase a specialized piece of equipment (VOXUR) that will enable Angus Council and its Community Planning Partnership to engage in an innovative and creative way with specific communities and target groups within Angus.

VOXUR is a self-contained, fully portable videobooth which would allow questions in video in any language (including sign language) and record answers in video from as many people as needed. VOXUR then manages this captured content to facilitate the creation of your own edits and for use into various other applications, website clips, presentations, word documents etc.

The VOXUR equipment will be used to gather opinion from individuals and communities on the current issues that are facing their communities and/or of interest to them as a group.

It is proposed to use the equipment in particular with four target groups with whom traditional methods of engagement are less successful: young people, migrant workers, members of Angus Gold and rural communities.
