In response to a recent Angus Accommodation Audit, Angus Council propose to introduce an Accommodation Grant Scheme to assist local accommodation suppliers to obtain recognised national quality marker grading schemes such as VistScotland Accommodation Grading, Green Tourism Business Scheme, VisitScotland Welcome Scheme, Eat Scotland, as part of a range of measures to help improve the sectors competitive edge. The scheme will also collect data on occupancy and establish a networking support mechanism for the operators to share best practice and develop marketing skills.
