A feasibility study (Phase 1) by the Community Broadband Network identified fibre-optic as the most effective solution taking into account the topography of the Angus Glens. This project will commission and brief consultants to carry out a technical study and produce an accurate design specification and costing for a fibre-optic network throughout the Glens area. Local people will be trained to participate fully in the design, operation and maintenance of the network. The project will be promoted through leaflets and posters throughout the area.
