Project Monitoring Procedure
Monitoring information will be used to measure the progress of the Rural Tayside LEADER Programme towards the target activities, outputs and impacts set out in the Business Plan.
Project monitoring will be carried out through the grant claim process, and by monitoring visits carried out by the LEADER Co-ordinator. The aims of monitoring visits are:
- To ensure relevant and robust output recording systems in place
- To ensure robust financial management systems in place.
- To ensure that the project is progressing as stated in the application
- To identify any potential problems as early on as possible and make suggestions for improvement measures
- To identify successful elements of the project, including transferable lessons learned
The Project Coordinator will arrange an initial site visit to the project. This visit will be prompted by your grant acceptance form.
A monitoring timetable will be agreed depending on the length and nature of the project. In all cases a monitoring visit will be undertaken prior to the final claim.
** Please note that any documentation relating to the project should be stored securely and retained by the applicant until December 2019. **
Feedback
