Vinney Den Footbridge Opening
The new timber pedestrian bridge at Vinney Den in Letham was formally opened on Friday 11 September 2009 - by local resident Mr Cosgrove.
£12,000 of the project cost was obtained from the Scottish Government and the European Community Rural Tayside LEADER 2007-2013 Programme.
The £30,000 project, which includes the upgrading of the footpath link, has been a partnership led by Letham & District Community Council with financial support from the Angus Environmental Trust (AET) through the Landfill Communities Fund.
